Turkey, dressing, pumpkin pie.
Thanksgiving redux.
Call it "Black Friday,"
People lined up at the Mall --
Open at midnight!
It's Thanksgiving Day --
Turkey is in the oven,
Peel the potatoes!
A haiku contest --
Gift from the gas company,
Win one thousand bucks!
Pick up the turkey,
Finish grocery shopping
For Thanksgiving Day.
Harpsichord, cello,

A Bach Sonata.
So what matters now?
Each and every moment
My heart beats once more.
Blustery weather,
Heavy rains in the forecast --

Scenic gem of Oregon,
Drowned in acid fog.
