I've been writing Haiku poems for decades but, with rare exception, they've been hiding in old journals and notebooks. As I "dig" them out (and write new ones), I'll post them on this blog along with a few longer poems. During 2011, I challenged myself to write at least one haiku poem a day to post on the blog. And I did.

February 1st: A new month for new haiku, So write a poem!
In the waiting room for cataract surgery, new lens, clear vision.
Sitting in Starbucks sipping my morning coffee, Watching people rush.
