I've been writing Haiku poems for decades but, with rare exception, they've been hiding in old journals and notebooks. As I "dig" them out (and write new ones), I'll post them on this blog along with a few longer poems. During 2011, I challenged myself to write at least one haiku poem a day to post on the blog. And I did.

"O"
For twenty-five years She opened her heart to us. Today, her last show.
She shared life lessons. All that she learned with us. "What I know for sure."
It came to an end Just as everything ends. Be grateful for life!
