I've been writing Haiku poems for decades but, with rare exception, they've been hiding in old journals and notebooks. As I "dig" them out (and write new ones), I'll post them on this blog along with a few longer poems. During 2011, I challenged myself to write at least one haiku poem a day to post on the blog. And I did.

Not Another Dream!
Awake in the dark, Listening to the rain*fall. Am I in a dream?
* As of today, more rain has fallen than our average for the month of July.
