I've been writing Haiku poems for decades but, with rare exception, they've been hiding in old journals and notebooks. As I "dig" them out (and write new ones), I'll post them on this blog along with a few longer poems. During 2011, I challenged myself to write at least one haiku poem a day to post on the blog. And I did.

Beautiful women, Five-inch heels and six-inch skirts, Bare legs on parade.
Public Transportation
Riding the Max train, Sweaty bodies all around, Packed in like sardines.
