I've been writing Haiku poems for decades but, with rare exception, they've been hiding in old journals and notebooks. As I "dig" them out (and write new ones), I'll post them on this blog along with a few longer poems. During 2011, I challenged myself to write at least one haiku poem a day to post on the blog. And I did.

The pitter-patter comes from the little critters Racing on the roof.
Day two of the pitter-patter of my roofers. At least three more to go, including the garage and growlery. That's what I get for hiring Norwegians instead of Mexicans, who would finished and be drinking Corona and singing Tex-Mex songs by now.
